Develop a Dot Improve dot's production by 1.
Caravan Establish a land trade route, retrieve more items.
Use Fee Instantiates the land route.
Train Establish land trade route, permit rapid movement over train areas.
Small boat Connect to other trade routes over small sea areas.
Large Boat Connect to other trade routes over large sea areas.
Industrial Tech Double number of purchases permitted in succeeding turns.
Raider Attack enemy land areas, Attack to hit roll=1, Defense to hit roll=2.

Army Base Cannot attack, but automatically destroy two attackers per round.
Galleon Attack enemy sea zones, 1/1 (move in small sea areas).
Battleship 4/4 (move in large sea areas).
Food/Clothing FactoryIncrease variety of goods (ultimately, more victory points).
Housing Factory Increase variety of goods (ultimately, more victory points).

Setup:

  1. Place a population piece (the piece with a portrait on it) in your home territory.
  2. Take an Income Board and place the following on it.
  3. Place another population piece in the Stockpiles area under the 1 column.
  4. Place one Wheat, one Cotton, one Timber and one Oil in the Stockpiles area under 6.
  5. Place any piece of your color on the 1 under Consumer Goods. Do the same for Infrastructure and Military.
  6. Place a Wheat marker in the Income area under the column which corresponds to the number of Wheat (i.e. yellow) dots in your home territory. Do the same for Timber (green).
  7. Reduce the column of the Wheat marker by 1 to reflect the 1 population which consumes the Wheat each turn (yes, this may take Wheat to -1).
