Note from the Designer

In the first edition game, the following Immigrants are listed with mammal dentition even though they would seem to be reptilian:

137 - Fabrosaurs
141 - Iguanodonts
142 - Scelidosaurs
145 - Heterodontosaurs
150 - Rynchosaur
153 - Placodonts
155 - Sea Turtles
157 - Rays
The dentitions are based (in a muddled sort of way) on whether the teeth are heterdont or uniform. The designer sees heterodont (varied teeth, with obvious specialization) in the above mentioned animals. As soon as specialization in teeth sets in, they seem to be no longer replaceable. The designer characterizes this as being in the mammal pattern.
